Hila the Killa is a climate change activist who educates the world about the earth through eco-rap. I worked as part of Jersey House Studio, an environmental animation studio, to create a music video for Hila’s song, “Dirty Talk”.

 

I was responsible for lighting, texturing, 2D animation, motion graphics, and stop-motion.

Production Process

The video uses a variety of mediums. I lit and textured the beginning CG sequence you see here.

Jersey House Studio wanted to push the animation styles that could all fit in one video. The animated characters morph from a traditional 2-D animated world to stop-motion.

 

I created and animated the stop-motion assets for this sequence.
