1/21/21: I caught a glimpse of the local Florida wildlife today, the noble Anhinga. Otherwise known as the Snakebird, these birds will spear fish in the water with their long beaks. Anhingas are often solitary, and spend most of their time in the water searching for their next meal.

2/4/21: I briefly got stopped in my travels upon a crossing fleet of Canada Geese. While usually regarded for their regular migration pattern, many of these birds have found permanent residence throughout North America.

3/19/21: I was lucky enough to spot a mother Australian Pelican along the coast of Kangaroo Island. These pelicans have found a comfortable home on the island, adapting to the lifestyle of the local population.
